Zoom Meetings

Classes every Tuesday at 10am Pacific and Friday at 7pm Pacific.

During the current health crisis I will be leading an online study of my book “One Breath at a Time: Buddhism and the Twelve Steps.” These one hour Zoom sessions will include guided meditation, exploring passages from the book, and time for questions. If you want to support my teaching, learn more about offering “dana.”

Tuesday, March 31, 2020. These recordings aren’t perfect. You may need to scroll through a bit. You might not want to watch me meditating, Much of this talk explored page 19-20 in One Breath at a Time “Learning Balance: The Middle Way”. I talk about the Buddha’s path to awakening as well as my own experience before and after recovery. Here is the Zoom of the video recording. And here is the audio version.

Friday, March 27, 2020. The topic was “Powerless, Not Helpless” from my book One Breath at a Time. (page 16). Here is the Zoom link of the video recording, and here is the audio version. I also read the Pablo Neruda poem “Keeping Quiet.” I discussed the Buddha’s teaching “Five Daily Contemplations.” And I read from my book “Living Kindness” at the end.

Friday, March 20, 7pm, Pacific: Here is the video version of the session. (There’s a terrible noise for a few seconds at the end of the meditation period.) Here is the audio version. In this session we began to look at Step One in One Breath at a Time.
