Mindfulness and Recovery
In this workshop we will introduce mindfulness meditation and the uses of Buddhism as a support for a recovery program. Connections will be made between the 12 Steps and the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths, showing how the theistic elements of the Steps can be replaced with Buddhist teachings and practices, the Dharma. The session will include a guided meditation, lecture, and time for questions.
